Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) role at CHSGa

We’re hiring full‑time CNAs for day & night shifts, PRN CNAs for day & night shifts, and part‑time CNAs for the night shift. Shifts are 12 hours: 7AM‑7PM & 7PM‑7AM.

Our pay range for CNAs begins at $15.75/hour and increases with experience, capped at $18.15/hour. Wage shift differentials are offered for 2nd/3rd shifts. Pay is processed every Friday (weekly).

• Assists patients with activities of daily living.
• Transports patients to and from dining areas and assists with their feeding.
• Reports patient’s health, comfort, and safety observations such as skin integrity, elimination, pain care, excessive sleep, etc.
• Takes and records patient’s temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and weight.
• Provides emotional support to patients and their families.
• Assists with administrative duties, including answering phones, call lights, answering doors, accommodating porch visits for patients.

• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant from the State of Georgia.
• Good communication skills, exceptional phone etiquette and shift flexibility for day/evening.

• Capability to maintain successful working relationships with patients, family members, supervisors, and fellow associates.
