Support Staff team plays a vital role in maintaining smooth front-of-house operations and providing an exceptional guest experience. This position combines the responsibilities of both hosts and takeout attendants into one cohesive, high-performing team.
Support Staff are expected to work collaboratively, maintain a positive and professional attitude, and take initiative throughout every shift. There is no such thing as “not my job” – every task contributes to the success of the team and the satisfaction of our guests.
Core Responsibilities- Guest Service:
Greet, seat, and assist guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a positive first and last impression. - Phone & Takeout:
Answer phones promptly and courteously, take accurate orders, process payments and package takeout efficiently. - Seating & Flow Management:
Manage and update the seating tablet in real time, communicate with servers to ensure smooth table rotations and minimize guest wait times. - Food Running & Server Assistance:
Run food to tables, clear and reset tables as needed, and assist serves to ensure timely and attentive guest service. - Team Support:
Step in wherever help is needed whether that means checking on a table, restocking supplies, or assisting other staff members during busy periods.
- Teamwork:
Work as one unified Support Staff team. Help one another without being asked and maintain constant awareness of what the team needs. - Positive Attitude:
Maintain a friendly, professional, and proactive attitude with guests, teammates, and management. - Professionalism:
Arrive on time ready to work. Communicate clearly, stay organized, and stay engaged and focused throughout the shift. - Accountability:
Take ownership of your area and your actions. Follow through on tasks, handle guest concerns appropriately, and take pride in doing your job well.
