Established in 1997, Henry Ford Academy is a public, tuition-free charter high school located within The Henry Ford (Dearborn, MI). Developed in partnership with Ford Motor Co. and The Henry Ford; chartered by Wayne County Regional Educational Services Agency (Wayne RESA). HFA has 500+ students in 9th through 12th grade. Each freshman class is selected through a random lottery process. We have two campuses: 9th grade in Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation;

10th – 12th grade in Greenfield Village.
HFA is a public charter school and is part of the Michigan Public School Employees’ Retirement System/ORS.

Located within The Henry Ford, a world-renowned history destination, HFA continuously integrates the unique assets of Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation and Greenfield Village into its curriculum.
