Responsibilities
  • Providing compassionate companionship to residents and assisting with daily activities such as transferring, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking
  • Administering medications and injections to residents based on physicians’ orders recorded in medical charts
  • Ensuring the cleanliness of the environment which may involve light housekeeping duties
  • Ensuring strict adherence to safety and health standards, including meticulous infection control procedures
  • Monitoring for changes in residents’ conditions and promptly communicate any changes to the supervisor
  • Following schedule, assisting residents with repositioning
  • Adhering to procedures regarding documenting of medications accurately
  • Utilize good judgment in providing client care and ensuring their safety
  • Assisting other team members with their duties as necessary
  • Responding to call lights and assess residents’ needs promptly
  • Obtain meal trays and assist with eating
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Minimum age of 18 years old
  • Experience in medication administration and working with seniors
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Reliable transportation
  • Availability to work every other weekend is required
