As a Technician,you will support the pharmacy’équipe delivering operational and service exce.lence within store. Technicians are often first point contact to assist patients and customers delivering an exceptional experience. They enhance pharmacy teams ensuring operations run smoothly prescriptions filled promptly, safely and accurately,and we are providing caring service that exceept their expectations..They operate part of the pharmacy team consistent application SOPs, best practices,communication.

- Living purpose by following all company SOPs each workstation help pharmacists manage and improve patient health.
- Following pharmacy workflow procedures each workstation(i.e.process,pickup,drive-thru,drop-off) for safe accurate prescription fulfillment.
- Contributing positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care: creating heartfelt and personalized moments while serving patients at pickups,drive-thru,over phone; keeping patients healthy by offering immunizations and other services at register and over phone; and demonstrating compassionate care by solving or escalating patient problems.
- Completing basic inventory activities as permitted by law and by pharmacy leadership: accurately putting away medication deliveries and completing cycle counts,returns-to-stocks,waiting bin inventories etc.
- Contributing to high‐performing team,embracing growth mindset,being receptive to feedback; actively seeking opportunities to expand clinical & technical knowledge needed to better assist patients.
- Remaining flexible scheduling and business needs while contributing to a safe inclusive engaging team dynamic; vol. traveling to stores in the market to work shifts as needed by business.
- Understanding and complying with all relevant federal, state and local laws, regulations, professional standards and ethical principles. Complying with CVS policies and procedures to ensure patient safety, controlled substance dispensing and record‑keeping, protect privacy and security.
- Delivering additional patient healthcare services(e.g.immunizations,point‑of‐care testing,voluntarily staffing offsite clinics) where allowable by law and supported by required training and certification.
- Completing additional licensure & training requirements per state Board of Pharmacy to obtain Technician Immunizer status for preparing and administering vaccines.
- Educating patients about importance of vaccines and referring patients to pharmacist‑on‑duty for vaccination questions.
- Monitoring for & responding to adverse reactions; reporting per public health requirements.
- Reviewing & collecting patient information; tracking & documenting for each applicable patient.
- Monitoring & managing vaccine supplies.
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing practice of pharmacy,including but not limited to age, education, licensure certification.
