POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Quality Technician position at Quest Specialty is responsible for understanding, applying, and documenting quality assurance processes applicable to the manufacturing operations. They take samples of products in various stages of the process and test them against standards defined in quality procedures. They document their actions, and ensure that all non-conformances are well defined, communicated, and actioned upon as defined by quality procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sample products in various stages of the manufacturing process and apply testing techniques as defined by the quality procedures.
• Document the testing of products in various stages of the manufacturing process as defined by the quality procedures.
• Ensure all non-conformances are documented, communicated, and actioned upon in a timely manner.
• Maintain work area in a clean and professional manner in order to ensure error free testing of products and good traceability.
• Strictly adhere to all quality, HSSE, and conduct standards set by the company.
• Diligently keep up with documentation and paperwork as required and/or assigned.
• Other reasonable responsibilities as required.

REQUIRED

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Manufacturing experience in a relevant industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Always maintain a positive attitude and a team mentality

PHYSICIAL REQUIREMENT:

• Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• The ability to spend 90%+ of an average day on your feet walking the lines.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently.
