The Business Operations Specialist serves as a critical bridge between Data Governance and Stewardship initiatives. In this 13-month contract role, you will act as a Business Analyst and Client Relationship Manager, overseeing the quality and integrity of pharmaceutical customer data (Physicians and Organizations). You will be responsible for process documentation, team leadership, and ensuring all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met with precision.
Key Responsibilities- Data Stewardship & Quality: Oversee the management of client customer data. Use MDM and CRM tools to review, verify, and improve the quality of healthcare professional (HCP) and healthcare organization (HCO) data.
- Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for pharmaceutical clients regarding Data Governance engagements. Provide ongoing feedback and elevate critical data issues as needed.
- Process Improvement: Lead the development and documentation of business processes and workflows related to data management.
- Performance Reporting: Track KPIs and report on SLA performance and data metrics on a predefined schedule to both internal management and client stakeholders.
- Operational Leadership: Train staff, ensure work quality, and manage timelines. Lead teams through complex data research and entry projects.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience with medical or pharmaceutical data is required.
- Technical Fluency: A fundamental understanding of relational databases, Master Data Management (MDM), and CRM technologies.
- Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams). Experience with Microsoft CoPilot and Access is a significant plus.
- Analytics: Strong research, data entry, and analytical skills with a focus on detail-oriented KPI tracking.
- Education: Undergraduate degree preferred, or equivalent applicable work experience.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for high-level client reporting.
- Adaptability: Eagerness to learn new tools, ability to follow complex directions, and capacity to work both independently and as a team leader.
- Strategy: Strong background in process development, workflow design, and project management.
