Senior Accountant

Overview

Associate Director, Executive Recruitment (Accounting/Finance). We have a fantastic opportunity with one of our premier manufacturing clients in Wayne, NJ. They're looking for a talented Senior Accountant to become a key player on their Plant Accounting team. This is a perfect role for someone who loves being hands-on with plant operations while making a real impact on financial performance. You ll be working closely with plant personnel daily and have the chance to truly influence business decisions as you report to the Director of Manufacturing Accounting.

• Drive the monthly financial close process - they pride themselves on closing within just 3 days!
• Take the lead on plant budgeting and work directly with corporate leadership
• Own the balance sheet reconciliation process (5-day turnaround)
• Create compelling monthly performance reports that tell the plant s financial story
• Be a trusted advisor to plant management on cost optimization and operational improvements
• Keep your finger on the pulse with real-time dashboard monitoring
• Dig deep into variance analysis to uncover meaningful insights
• Shape the future through capital expenditure planning and asset optimization
• Lead annual cost rollups and inventory management initiatives
• Be the go-to person for financial controls and compliance
• Handle specialized projects like property tax preparation

• Bachelor s in Accounting/Finance (or similar background)
• 5-10 years of progressive finance experience - manufacturing exposure is a huge plus!
• Strong foundation in accounting principles and management accounting
• Excel wizardry and financial modeling expertise
• Someone who can communicate complex financial concepts clearly
• A self-starter who thrives in dynamic, fast-growing environments

Base pay range: $90,000.00/yr - $/yr
