Position: Loan Servicing Specialist
Position Type: Temporary (approximately 3 months plus)
Location: Wayne, NJ (onsite)
Hours: Business Hours
Pay Range: $28/hr - $35/hr
We have an immediate opening for a Loan Servicing Specialist. The person selected for this role will be responsible for managing all administrative aspects of the loan applications. This role will primarily support internal teams to ensure accurate loan processing and timely resolution of issues. Prior experience in residential loan processing is highly desirable.
What you will be doing- Research missing or misapplied loan payments.
- Process loan payment reversals.
- Provide payoff letters.
- Handle customer inquiries or research.
- Assist lenders to resolve customer complaints or issues.
- Perform maintenance on payment schedules, rates and billing records.
- Set up ACH - AFT records.
- Complete change of address requests.
- High School Diploma or GED is Required and a minimum of 3-5 years related experience.
- Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills with peers, management and customers.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to handle confidential materials.
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle stressful situations.
- Knowledge of federal banking regulations.
