- Supervise, direct, and coordinate pharmacy services at multiple hospital pharmacy sites within the healthcare system.
- Plan, organize, and implement medication distribution functions, clinical services, and PI programs consistent with quality care.
- Assist in the financial operations of the department, develop associates, and create a healthy practice environment that fosters innovation and the organizational vision.
- Provide pharmacy services appropriate to the age of the patient served (neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric), ensuring that the pharmaceutical care meets the unique needs of each patient.
- In the absence of the Director, assume responsibility for the administrative and managerial operation of the department.
- Support and collaborate with the Clinical Pharmacy Manager and other site Pharmacy Managers.
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree or Masters degree required, with a minimum of five to seven years of progressive hospital pharmacy experience.
- Registration and licensure in accordance with the requirements of the NJ Board of Pharmacy.
- Graduate degree in management or Pharmacy Residency training preferred.
- Ability to manage employees within the assigned unit/department and to persuade and negotiate with peer-level managers and department heads on issues and programs that impact the unit/department.

The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The salary range does not include incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation.
