Job Description
Partner pharmacist who works in coordination with the Pharmacy Manager on the overall pharmacy operation and models SJH's purpose with all activities and communication. The role of the pharmacist is responsible for dispensing prescriptions and specialty medications, administering appropriate immunizations, ensuring compliance with the 340b program, creating a great customer experience, continuing professional relations with medical providers, insurance carriers and third‑party administrators, ensuring compliance with all regulatory agencies and SJH policies, and maintaining a positive, attentive and knowledgeable professional image of the pharmacy department.
Qualifications- 1‑2 year experience in retail pharmacy preferred.
- Previous 340B and/or specialty pharmacy experience preferred.
- Hold and maintain a current, valid in‑date license/registration to practice Pharmacy in the state of practice.
- Immunization privilege and required CPR certification preferred.
- Must not currently be on any federal government exclusion lists (OIG, GSA), have any active suspensions, sanctions, or other restrictions related to participation in a private, federal, or state health insurance program upon hire and thereafter.
