Patient Care Associate Telemetry - Wayne

Join to apply for the Patient Care Associate - Full-Time 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Telemetry - Wayne) role at St. Joseph's Health.

Responsible for assisting patients with activities of daily living, providing basic care to acutely ill patients, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and performing EKGs and Venipuncture as directed by the Registered Nurse.

• High School diploma or equivalent
• PCA/PCT diploma with 6 months to 1 year of recent healthcare experience OR
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification OR
• EMT certification OR
• Enrolled in an accredited nursing school with completed Nursing Fundamentals coursework OR
• Evidence of completion in Nursing Fundamentals OR
• Nursing Assistant training program completion OR
• PCA/PCT, Home Health Aide, or CMA experience

• Phlebotomy experience
• Basic Life Support certification (through the American Heart Association)
