Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
• Complete proper documentation using Home Care Home Base EMR
• Assist clients with personal care or home management tasks, including basic personal hygiene and grooming, feeding and ambulation, medical monitoring, and other basic health care related tasks
• Assist with basic housekeeping, shopping and other related housekeeping tasks

Qualifications

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record as defined by agency policy
• Certification as required by state licensure (CNA or Home Health Care Aide)
• Must be able to utilize proper body mechanics while lifting and may be expected to lift up 75 lbs.; must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, and reach

Additional Job Information

Adoration Home Health / Bright Spring Health Services, an affiliated company, has recently acquired certain Amedisys home health and hospice operations and is recruiting candidates for open positions within those operations. The successful candidate will initially be employed by Amedisys until January 1, 2026 at the latest. During this period, Amedisys will perform all administrative onboarding activities and offer benefits coverage under Amedisys employee benefit plans.

On or before January 1, 2026, the successful candidate’s employment will be transferred to Adoration Home Health / Bright Spring Health Services, an affiliated company. At all times, they will make all hiring decisions and supervise the work of the successful candidate.
