Position SummaryPerforms x-ray functions and documents accurately in EMR system according to licensure and regulatory guidelines in a courteous, caring and respectful manner. Maintains appropriate logs and licensing according to state and Board Examiners. Responsible for maintaining all supplies and equipment. Maintains a close working relationship with staff to ensure proper workflow. Supports and assists other practice activities as necessary.
EducationCompletion of formal radiologic technology coursework in a school approved by the Council on Education of the American Medical Association. Must have passed an examination within six (6) months by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist or be eligible.
ExperiencePrevious experience in a clinic, medical office or off-site medical environment preferred.
Skills- Current and valid license from the State of New Jersey X-Ray Technician Board of Examiners.
- ARRT Certification preferred.
- BCLS certification required.

- Outstanding interpersonal, service‑excellence and customer‑service skills.
- Strong orientation towards high‑quality, cost‑effective and comprehensive medical care.

- Strong communication (oral and written) and presentation skills to convey information clearly to people of varied age groups, customers and/or groups.
- Ability to create, maintain and support a high‑functioning team; establish and foster cooperative working relationships with staff and management; function effectively as part of that team.
- Demonstrates behavior that is courteous, caring, respectful and compassionate at all times and listens and responds in a non‑judgmental manner with clear expectations.

- Respects confidentiality of private healthcare, financial, and other company information at all times.

- Position may require rotating to other VMG locations from time to time when necessary.
