. This role involves clerical functions for a patient care unit, facilitating information flow between medical and nursing staff to maximize unit efficiency. Acts as a resource between ancillary departments and the patient care unit. Uses the hospital wide computer system for order entry, admission, transfer and discharge (ADT).

Work requires a High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years of relevant experience (preferred). Work requires the ability to gather and interpret data in situations where information or problems are not overly difficult or complex. Work requires the ability to exchange information on factual matters.
