Responsibilities
Under general supervision and according to established procedures, provides basic medical assistance to physicians/providers and nurses by performing basic patient preparation in accordance with area‑specific policy and procedures.
Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
- Vital signs
- Chart preparation
- Phlebotomy
- Procedure assistance
- Lab sample collection
Utilizes department‑specific computer systems for entry and retrieval of patient data.
