Our client builds mission‑critical voice and communication platforms used by large telecom and enterprise customers. When systems are live, they need engineers who can diagnose real problems, under pressure, in production.
- Debugging SIP / VoIP call issues
- Using logs, traces, and Wireshark to find root cause
- Troubleshoot issues across:
- SIP signaling & call flow
- Networking and media paths
- Analyze logs, traces, and packet captures
- Work directly with customer engineering teams
- Coordinate with internal development teams on fixes
- Participate in maintenance windows and upgrades
- Join a rotating on‑call schedule after ramp‑up
This is a Tier 2 / Tier 3 support role, not entry‑level and not design‑only.
What we’re looking for- Hands‑on experience supporting VoIP / SIP systems
- SIP call flows
- Packet captures (Wireshark)
- Experience supporting production environments
- Clear communicator with technical customers
- Willing to work on‑site
- Telecom or carrier‑grade environments
- Scripting or automation
- VMware or Cisco IOS exposure On‑call & compensation
- Base salary around $100‑130K
- Looking for engineers who take ownership, not just tickets
- Support engineers who enjoy solving real problems
- VoIP / SIP engineers who want depth, not buzzwords
- Engineers comfortable with responsibility and visibility
- People who want to be trusted with critical systems
