Position Overview
A leading regional distribution company is seeking a skilled Personal Injury/Collections Paralegal to support its General Counsel in managing claims, litigation files, and account recovery matters. This role is ideal for a paralegal experienced in personal injury, commercial collections, or insurance‑related work who thrives in a fast‑paced, operational business environment.
Base Pay Range$70,000 – $95,000 per year

- Manage all aspects of personal injury cases from inception through resolution.
- Prepare and respond to discovery requests, including drafting affidavits, interrogatories, and requests for production.
- Track and manage all case deadlines, ensuring all legal documents are filed on time.
- Coordinate with clients, attorneys, court personnel, and other parties as needed.
- Conduct legal research and assist in preparing legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence.
- Maintain a comprehensive and organized case management system.
- Oversee collections efforts, negotiate payment plans, and manage related legal proceedings.
- Assist in the preparation for trials, hearings, depositions, and client meetings.
- Stay updated with changes in laws and regulations related to personal injury and collections.
- Support the legal team with other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Personal Injury or Collections Paralegal.
- Paralegal Certificate or equivalent legal qualification.
- Proven experience in tracking deadlines, preparing discovery responses, and managing collections.
- Strong knowledge of personal injury law and collections processes.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and legal research platforms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
