About Excel Care at Wayne: Excel Care at Wayne is a respected skilled nursing facility committed to delivering high-quality care and fostering a supportive environment for residents and staff. We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Registered Nurse to lead our clinical team on weekends.
Position Overview:The Weekend RN Supervisor will oversee all nursing operations during weekend shifts, ensuring compliance with care standards and regulatory guidelines. This role requires strong leadership, clinical expertise, and the ability to manage staff and resident needs effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise nursing staff and coordinate clinical care during weekend shifts
- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to facility policies
- Provide direct patient care when necessary
- Manage admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Communicate with families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams
- Respond to emergencies and resolve issues promptly
- Current RN license in the State of New Jersey
- Minimum of two years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care or skilled nursing
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions
