Job Overview
Coach is a global fashion house founded in 1941. The Sales Associate role is an integral part of the store’s overall success and efficiency, demanding direct attention to our brand commitment when servicing customers and driving results.
Responsibilities- Understand organizational objectives and make decisions that align with Coach priorities.
- Take ownership of personal metrics and create sales and clienteling strategies partnership with the management team.
- Build credibility and trust as a personal fashion advisor by communicating fashion awareness and strong product knowledge.
- Provide in-depth product knowledge, including features, benefits, current offerings, and overall product value.
- Cross-sell and encourage beneficial product add-ons that relate to the customer’s shopping needs.
- Work with multiple customers simultaneously and break away as appropriate.
- Follow up with customers consistently and genuinely to influence and close the sale.
- Leverage Coach’s tools and technology to support relationship building and clienteling efforts.
- Promote and endorse a team selling environment.
- Maintain a clean and tidy selling floor at all times.
- Ensure all daily tasks are completed without negatively impacting service or Coach standards.
- Maintain store consistency, including visual merchandising and stockroom organization.
- Support cash-wrap and inventory processes, including product replenishment and shipment processing.
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- 1–3 years of previous sales experience in a luxury retail environment.
- Current knowledge of fashion trends and competition.
- Basic computer skills, including iPad/laptop, Mobile POS, and internet.
- Ability to execute at a fast pace and lift up to 50 pounds for product shipments and transfers.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
