As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security‑related incidents and providing a reassuring presence. This role involves driving responsibilities, as you will be required to operate a vehicle while conducting routine patrols. You will interact with staff and visitors, delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. Job Schedule:
- Wed 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
- Sat 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM
- Sun 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
- Provide customer service to clients, following security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, supporting a secure environment at the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
- Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security‑related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to staff, students, and visitors at the location.
- Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with local authorities and/or emergency responders when necessary, following established protocols.
- Availability across various days and shifts
- Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
- A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
- Interest in transitioning into full‑time roles when available
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
