Maintenance Assistant – Full Time (Weekend Required)
We are looking for a candidate with knowledge in using basic hand tools (saws, screwdrivers, hammers, and basic power tools). You must also have knowledge of carpentry, electrical plumbing, flooring, painting, and snow removal. Avalon Rehabilitation and Care Center is consistently striving to deliver the greatest level of customer satisfaction. Join our team as we collectively provide the best care for our residents.
Responsibilities- Maintain building and grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
- Maintain and repair basic functions of the facility.
- Take care of the tools and equipment.
- Make minor repairs on handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, Geri-chairs, electrical equipment, sprinkling systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms, and extinguishers.
- Change filters on HVAC equipment.
