We are looking for an experienced, detail-focused Senior Accountant to join our expanding accounting team. This is a hands‑on role that reports directly to the Controller and supports a wide range of accounting and analytical activities. Responsibilities include reviewing and preparing journal entries, completing account reconciliations, performing variance analysis, and contributing to special projects as needed.

The ideal candidate is self‑motivated, solutions‑oriented, and brings strong general ledger and technical accounting expertise. This individual is highly organized, comfortable working under deadlines, and excited to take part in meaningful, high‑visibility initiatives.

• Lead and support month‑end and year‑end close activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Perform assigned close responsibilities, including managing accruals and prepaid expenses, reviewing P&L activity, and ensuring proper GL coding.
• Prepare and maintain assigned account reconciliations with a high level of accuracy and timeliness.
• Review work completed by staff accountants and provide guidance, feedback, and training when necessary.
• Partner closely with the Controller and collaborate cross‑functionally to meet close deadlines and reporting requirements.
• Support external audit efforts by preparing documentation and responding to auditor requests.
• Prepare and reconcile monthly lease accounting entries in compliance with ASC 842.
• Serve as a key contributor in the implementation of a new ERP system.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• CPA designation strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience improving processes and leveraging technology to optimize accounting operations.
• Exposure to ERP system implementations or migrations is a plus.
• Proficiency with accounting systems; experience with Great Plains, Sage Intacct, or similar platforms preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, leadership ability, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
