Assistant Controller

Seeking an Assistant Controller to join its accounting and finance leadership team. This is a newly structured opportunity offering significant exposure to senior leadership, hands‑on ownership of accounting operations, and strong long‑term growth potential.

• Support day‑to‑day accounting and financial operations
• Lead and support month‑end and year‑end close processes
• Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and general ledger activity
• Oversee construction accounting functions, including job costing and WIP reporting
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow reporting, and financial analysis
• Maintain and improve accounting controls, policies, and procedures
• Partner cross‑functionally with operations and project teams
• Provide leadership and support to members of the accounting team
• Assist with process improvements and future accounting system initiatives
• Partner directly with senior financial and executive leadership

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Construction industry experience required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong knowledge of construction accounting, job costing, WIP, and project-based financial reporting
• Experience with construction or project-based ERP/accounting systems
• Strong Excel and financial reporting skills
• Previous leadership or team oversight experience preferred
• Hands‑on, collaborative approach with the ability to operate in a fast‑paced environment
