As a Family Practice Physician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, with a focus on preventive medicine and the management of chronic health conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Providing high-quality primary care services to patients of all ages, including conducting physical exams, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, and managing preventive care.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients, including medication management and lifestyle modifications.
  • Providing ongoing care for patients with chronic health conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma.
  • Counselling patients on disease prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and other health-related issues.
  • Referring patients to specialists as needed for further evaluation and treatment.
  • Documenting patient care in electronic medical records in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff.
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
Qualifications
  • Passion for lifestyle medicine!
  • Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine.
  • Residency training in family medicine or internal medicine.
  • Board certification in family medicine or internal medicine or eligible for certification.
  • Active medical license in PA.
  • Active and current DEA number and state-controlled substance certificate.
  • Experience providing primary care services in an outpatient setting.
  • Strong clinical skills, including the ability to diagnose and manage a wide range of medical conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other clinical software applications.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing patient-centered care and delivering high-quality services.
  • Leadership experience or potential, with a strong desire to take on additional responsibilities within the practice.
