Bala is seeking a mid‑level Electrical Engineer to sit in our Wayne, PA office supporting operations enterprise‑wide.

• Prepare calculations for feeders, services, short circuit, and transformer size.
• Design building electrical distribution, fire alarm, and security systems.
• Perform on‑site surveys of existing electrical equipment.
• Determine schedules and details required for the project; review with project engineer.
• Attend job meetings as required.
• Ensure flow of information between disciplines.
• Assist in writing reports and feasibility studies.
• Support developing electrical standards.
• Prepare cost estimates and specifications.

• 5 to 9 years of experience designing electrical power distribution infrastructure, fire alarm systems, lighting systems (interior and exterior), and lighting controls.
• Familiarity with short circuit, arc flash coordination, design of interior and exterior lighting, and photometric calculations.
• Background in commercial and healthcare facilities strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Knowledge of applicable codes, including energy conservation.
• PE or EIT certification preferred.
• LEED accreditation preferred.
• Proficiency with Revit design software with at least 1 year of formal design use.
