Piper Companies is seeking a Solution Architect to join a leading financial services organization in Wayne, PA f for a hybrid opportunity. This role is critical for designing and guiding IT solutions within a specific business domain (Digital, Mid-Office, Back-Office), ensuring alignment with business processes and strategic objectives.
Responsibilities of the Solution Architect:
- Align with business stakeholders to understand processes and translate requirements into IT solutions
- Organize solution design activities and involve appropriate stakeholders
- Design solutions within architectural boundaries and capture direction in Product Solution Architecture (PSA)
- Obtain approvals for architecture artifacts from business stakeholders and architecture teams
- Provide guidance and coaching to Agile engineers and support successful adoption of new technology
- Collaborate with the Lead Architect to co-create architecture roadmaps and plans aligned with business strategy
- Maintain architecture repository and coordinate architecture backlog for the business domain
- Monitor implementation of solutions to ensure compliance with PSAs
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve the IT landscape within the domain
- 5+ years of experience designing and architecting IT solutions
- Experience with Pega technologies, including cloud solutions and integration with non-Pega environments
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments within IT and financial services
- University-level education and practical experience with architecture frameworks
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to coach Agile engineers and convey IT concepts in business terms
Compensation for the Solution Architect:
- $120,000-$150,000
