Business Analyst-Asset Data & Reporting at DLL
Job DescriptionImplement the asset data strategy by connecting with DLL countries to develop both the quantity and quality of Asset Data. Gather data requirements for monitoring and performance dashboards for Asset Management and Asset Sales globally. Specify these requirements into user stories for IT engineers. Partner with Asset Management and Asset Sales as well as other internal departments to understand business requirements and provide new asset‑related insights.

- A skilled business analyst with knowledge of leasing or asset management processes.
- Actively managing senior business stakeholders in addressing their data and reporting needs.
- Eager to deliver results in a structured way.
- Collect and validate business requirements from key stakeholders (asset management and asset sales).
- Gather data requirements and identify source, location, and timing of data.
- Refine requirements into user stories for IT engineers (data sourcing, modelling, SQL scripts).
- Perform data analysis in SQL on Asset Data (structure, financed emissions, data quality).
- Collaborate with the Financed Emissions team to implement target state for financed emissions reporting.
- Enable the Asset Data Steward by visualizing key data quality metrics in Power BI.
- Present progress on Sustainability and Data Quality to key stakeholders and drive dashboard adoption.
- First‑time right translation of business requirements to technical specifications for new dashboards and Financed Emissions target state.
- Provide backlog refinement in line with planning.
- Maintain high stakeholder satisfaction.
- Two working days per year volunteering for a local charity.

- Degree and 7+ years experience in Business Intelligence, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- 5+ years experience in financial industry (preferably leasing/asset management).
- Demonstrable experience in global stakeholder management and project management.
- Strong communication skills, confidence, and persuasion.
- 5+ years experience with SQL data analysis related to business challenges.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Experience in requirement gathering and communicating technical solutions to non‑technical staff.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI) and ability to transform information into advice.
- Knowledge of Sustainability (financed emissions, nature & biodiversity, circularity).
- Knowledge of process management and LEAN principles.
