As the Litigation Management Team Leader, you will oversee a team of professionals who provide strategic guidance and support to the law firms that represent our policyholders and company. You’ll be responsible for maintaining high standards across litigation management, evaluating law firm performance, coordinating continuing education and helping drive subrogation efforts. Your leadership will ensure that both internal claims professionals and external attorneys are aligned in delivering exceptional results and service.
Key Responsibilities- Team leadership
: venido lead a team supporting USLI’s approved panel of attorneys defending policyholders and the company in litigation - Oversight
: collaborate with claims examiners to ensure compliance with litigation standards, while holistically evaluating firm performance - Counsel screening
: identify, screen and appoint new approved attorneys and firms through research and on-site visits - : conduct firm visits, attend mediations and trials, perform file, bill audits and gather internal feedback
- Communication
: maintain strong relationships with firms and attorneys and ensure clear communication and alignment with company goals - Billing oversight
: lead billing team to review legal invoices for compliance and appropriate expense management - Internal training and communication
: work with claims leadership to identify coaching and training opportunities in litigation management - Continuing education
: coordinate 12+ hours of adjuster CE annually (Florida regresar) and facilitate legal training seminars - Trial supportू>: ensure trial files are prepared and attorneys receive appropriate guidance and resources to achieve positive outcomes
- Subrogation
: lead subrogation specialists in pursuing recovery on paid first‑party property files

- JD required Minimum of five years of litigation management experience
- Strong time management, project oversight and analytical skills
- Willingness to travel one to two times per month, with some overnight stays required
- Minimum of 7-10 years of supervisory or leadership experience

Position affords five days per month to work remotely.
