Surgical Center Registered Nurse (RN) - Weekend Opportunity
Location:Wayne PA
Hours:Saturdays and Sundays, 6am-2:30pm
Pay: $43 - $45 per hour

Position Summary
The Surgical Center Registered Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care before, during, and after surgical and procedural treatments. This role partners closely with physicians, embryologists, anesthesiology providers, and clinical staff to deliver exceptional patient experiences while ensuring the highest standards of safety and clinical excellence.
What You'll Do
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care throughout the surgical experience
- Performs all pre-operative and post-operative required activities so that the movement of the surgical procedures are coordinated, ensuring quality patient care.
- Pre-Operative
- Completes patient pre-operative assessment and documents according to policy. - Surgical
- Performs all operative activities including checking the room for supplies, assisting the surgical technician setting up cases, anticipating the needs of the surgical team, surgical counts, transport of patient and report hand-off to the recovery team. - PACU
- Receives patient from the operating room with report of pertinent history and procedure (surgery performed, medications, fluids, complications, anesthetic/sedation/reversal agents, emotional status pre-procedure.) - Assess, monitor, and educate patients before and after procedures
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Support quality, safety, and regulatory compliance standards
- Create a welcoming and reassuring experience for patients during a significant moment in their family-building journey
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license - required
- Current BLS certification; ACLS - required
- 2+ years’ clinical nursing experience – required
- Demonstrated proficiency in nursing assessment and intravenous therapy – required
- Surgical, procedural, PACU, IVF, women's health, ambulatory surgery, or related nursing experience - preferred
- Proficient in MS Office, (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong clinical assessment and patient education skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Passion for providing compassionate, high-quality patient care
Schedule
- Weekend coverage required – Saturdays and Sundays, 6am-2:30pm
- Candidates available to work a full weekend every other week are encouraged to apply
