Join Pieper Veterinary as a Veterinary Technician in our newly opened urgent care facility in Wayne, PA. This role blends urgent care with general practice, providing timely, compassionate care to pets.

• Triage and assess patients presenting with urgent needs, working closely with veterinarians to prioritize treatments.
• Provide hands‑on nursing care
  , including administering medications, placing IV catheters, and monitoring patient vitals.
• Perform diagnostics such as blood draws, in‑house lab tests, and basic imaging to aid in quick, accurate treatment decisions.
• Communicate clearly with pet owners, updating them on their pet’s condition, next steps, and home‑care instructions.
• Maintain a well‑stocked, organized work area, ensuring essential supplies and equipment are readily available.
• Collaborate with the entire veterinary team, contributing ideas to enhance efficiency, patient comfort, and client satisfaction.

• Experience in a veterinary setting (general practice, urgent care, or emergency).
• Strong clinical skills - venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and basic diagnostics.
• Excellent communication abilities, commitment to empathetic client service.
• Calm, organized demeanor suitable for navigating a busy urgent care environment.

Full‑time position with available schedules:
Sunday‑Wednesday 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM; note that some holidays are required.

Starting at $22 per hour plus 15% shift differential.
