The Service Technician supports all phases of property maintenance and works closely with the Community Manager and Service Supervisor. This position helps ensure the community’s physical condition is maintained to high standards, while delivering excellent customer service to residents.

Responsibilities Include
  • Completing assigned maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner
  • Performing routine maintenance, daily task schedules, and unit turnover work
  • Painting, cleaning, and preparing apartments under renovation
  • Troubleshooting maintenance issues and notifying leadership of concerns
  • Participating in the on‑call rotation and responding to after‑hours emergencies
  • Performing snow removal and maintaining related equipment
  • Maintaining tools, supplies, and inventory
  • Interacting professionally with residents, vendors, contractors, and staff
  • Following all safety and health protocols
  • Completing additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of full‑time maintenance experience (painting, plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, mowing, plowing, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and heating systems
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to problem‑solve during emergencies
  • Basic computer skills for completing digital work orders
  • Integrity, teamwork, and the ability to work well with diverse populations
Compensation & Benefits
  • Full‑time position: minimum 40 hours per week, with additional hours as needed
  • Salary commensurate with experience
