Title: Sr. Mechanical Engineer

Pay Rate: $62/hour

Location: Waynesboro, GA

Start Date: 12/8/2025

Contract: 1+ year

• Designs on small and medium retrofit, environmental and new generation projects, leading in conducting mechanical design activities including pipe sizing and routing.
• Material selection, pipe support design, valve selection, P&t, equipment layout, equipment specifications, and hydraulic calculations, developing datasheets for valves and other equipment, providing technical direction to designers, developing project scopes, schedules and budgets, making sound independent decisions with minimal information, and assisting in checkout and startup of systems when necessary.
• Significant experience with design of new construction and/or retrofit of power generation or heavy industrial facilities and the ability to take the lead role for detailed design activities.
• Knowledge of mechanical engineering design principles, proficiency with applicable codes, standards and regulatory requirements, experience in development, preparation and checking of P&IDs, experience with overall design and layout of piping systems, pipe sizing and routing.
