Principle Engineer - ENGP

Principle Engineer 3 Duration: 6 months

Location:

Waynesboro, GA 30830 Pay rate: $55.00 - $59.78 per hour on w2 with per diem provided for non-local candidates.

• Research and retrieve technical information from Plant Vogtle technical basis documents.
• Review original and updated plant technical analyses, engineering calculations, and modification design packages.
• Summarize technical information in accordance with Southern Nuclear Corporation (SNC) formatting and documentation standards.
• Prepare technical basis summaries and submit them for review and approval.
• Utilize available AI-assisted search capabilities to support research and retrieval of technical information.

• Perform technical reviews of engineering analysis reports prepared by other team members.
• Evaluate technical content, accuracy, completeness, and consistency with supporting documentation.
• Provide constructive feedback and identify discrepancies, gaps, or areas requiring clarification.
• Support the preparation and review of technical reports associated with plant performance upgrades.
• Ensure technical documentation is clear, accurate, and consistent with applicable SNC standards.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution; OR Five (5) or more years of direct, relevant experience may be considered in lieu of an engineering degree.

• Strong technical research and information retrieval skills.
• Ability to review and interpret engineering analyses, calculations, and technical documentation.
• Excellent technical writing, summarization, and report review skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies in technical documents.
• Ability to provide clear, constructive feedback on engineering reports.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with engineering teams.
