Description

SUMMARY
Assemble Components to go into the CVT Basetank. This includes IVT (Transformer), Reactor, FSD board, Oil/Air bushing. Includes cutting and crimping wires, coring of IVT and assembly of the FSD board.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Verify material you will work with is correct according to your work order.
  • Inspect material to be sure it is not, damaged or dirty.
  • Apply lead wires and core to IVT (Transformer)
  • Assemble wiring and components on FSD board
  • Prepare Oil/Air bushing assembly
  • Assemble IVT, Reactor, FSD and oil/air bushing into basetank
  • Load basetank assemblies into oven
  • Responsible for quality control. No damaged product is sent next workstation.
  • Operate within standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA’s)
  • Complete daily/weekly production logs
  • Communicate with operators from other shifts.
  • Clean and maintain work area.
  • Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
  • Other duties as assigned.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Help other assembly areas
  • Provide on-the-job training to new employees.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diplomaor equivalent.
  • The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.
  • Performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork.
  • Manual dexterity required for operating machinery.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required.
WORKING CONDITIONS:

Working conditions are consistent with that of a manufacturing environment: loud, high-heat, and fast-paced. Work involves frequent lifting of materials and product up to 50 pounds and strict adherence to PPE protocols. Equipment operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses and steel toe shoes; loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.

Hair that touches the shoulders must be pinned up so as not to touch the shoulder.
