** How This Role Works:*

** Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"):
** You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

** Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:
** In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

** Responsibilities:*
* + Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.

+ Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor records, and directing authorized personnel, vendors, and deliveries to appropriate areas.

+ Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, restricted areas, production-adjacent spaces, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

+ Maintain accurate logs and reports related to access activity, incidents, and observations, and communicate concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Access control/badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
