Occupational Therapist

7 Senses is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic interdisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for working with children and connecting with families, natural creativity, a go-getter attitude, proficiency in testing and evaluation, and neurodiversity-affirming practice. Experience with feeding therapy is a plus!

Necessary Qualifications:

• Completion of Master’s or Doctorate degree in occupational therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active license (in good standing) to practice as an OT in the state of Virginia (or eligible to obtain).
• Strong communication and client advocacy skills.
• Experience with electronic medical records.
• Proof of current CPR and Basic Life Support certification (or willing to obtain).
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination preferred due to our young and medically-complex populations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess pediatric patients to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance patients' engagement in childhood occupations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Educate families on treatment goals and progress, ensuring effective communication throughout the process.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems and adhere to safety and CPR protocols.
• Stay current with best practices in pediatric occupational therapy and participate in ongoing professional development.

Schedule: 9:00am-7:00pm or 8:00am-6:00pm Monday-Thursday

Pay:
Up to $90,000/year based on experience
