• Pay or shift range: $17 USD to $22.62 USD The pay range reflects the current compensation range for this position at the time of posting. Individual offers are determined based on directly related experience, skills, education, internal equity, and other job-related factors. Not all candidates will qualify for the upper end of the posted range.

The Radiology Support Specialist plays a critical role in supporting Augusta Health’s mission and advancing departmental goals through measurable performance indicators and service excellence. This position contributes to a collaborative, patient-centered environment and helps drive outcomes aligned with organizational priorities.

Management of all digital images and hard copy films. Responsible for all Radiology release of information (ROI) requests in compliance with HIPAA, state and federal regulations.

• Responsibilities include processing CDs and routing of electronic images, scanning paperwork, merging patient exams and imaging, retrieval of films for intra and inter departmental use, as well as importing of images from outside CDs and cloud-based services into the PACS database.
• Provides support to physicians, technologists, and additional team members with any imaging needs. Submits request forms for addendums to Radiologists. Obtain any outside records to be used for correlation for patient’s recent or upcoming studies.
• Uses imaging and technology expertise (e.g. Radiology Information System (RIS), Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS), etc.) to facilitate accurate and timely interpretation and dissemination of imaging studies. Acts as a coach to other users of imaging throughout the…
