2E3-Civil Equipment Operator-NON Union-ULCS

The Equipment Operator will operate equipment including but not limited to backhoes, trenchers, mini excavators, drill rigs, digger derricks, knuckle booms, jackhammers, and other tools.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment including backhoes, trenchers, mini excavators, drill rigs, digger derricks, knuckle booms, jackhammers, and other tools.
• Work around hazardous equipment and near energized parts or equipment.
• Work in noisy environments from machines and equipment.
• Establish OSHA and company safety requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to operate various manual digging tools and equipment.
• Endurance to perform duties throughout an 8 or 10-hour day.
• Ability to maintain focus during dangerous tasks.

Education & Experience:

• NCCCO Certification preferred but not required.
• Experience with backhoe, trencher, excavator, skid steer, bulldozer, and similar equipment.

Pre-Screen: Upon offer, candidates may need to pass drug screening, background, and MVR checks.

License & Certifications: Valid CDL required.

Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel and work away from home.
