Innovative Refrigeration Systems is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to help build enterprise SaaS platforms that protect people, operations, and the global food supply.

We’re a national leader in industrial refrigeration and cold storage solutions, supporting some of the largest food & beverage organizations in the world. Inside our engineering group, you’ll work in a startup‑style environment while building mission‑critical safety and sustainability software used by Fortune 100 companies worldwide.

Our Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and Process Safety platforms help global organizations: meet complex regulatory requirements, build sustainable, best‑in‑class safety cultures, all built with a customer‑first mindset and modern engineering practices.

• Design, develop, test, and ship mission‑critical features across the stack
• Lead by example and mentor junior engineers
• Contribute to architectural decisions and platform direction
• Write automated tests and champion a strong testing culture
• Build thoughtful user experiences from front end to API logic
• Collaborate closely with a tight‑knit, high‑trust engineering team

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong back‑end experience with a modern programming language
• Experience shipping features to RESTful APIs and web/mobile apps
• Solid understanding of OOP, relational databases, and API design

• PHP and frameworks like Laravel or Symfony
• Front‑end build tools (Webpack, Vite, etc.)
• Mobile app development or Native Script experience
