Friday Services, on behalf of our client, is seeking a strategic, hands-on Engineering & Maintenance Manager to lead and optimize a multi-site manufacturing footprint. This is your opportunity to own critical capital projects, lead high-performing teams, and drive lasting operational excellence in a company that's constantly evolving and growing.
Base pay range$/yr - $/yr
Location: Multi-Site Leadership (Waynesville, Hazelwood, Aspers & Field Services)
Travel: Up to 20%
Reports to: VP of Manufacturing
Relocation: Relocation assistance if the offer was for someone out of area

Why This Role Rocks- High Impact: You’ll shape the strategic direction of capital investments, major equipment upgrades, and plant improvements across multiple states.
- Leadership Role: Lead diverse, distributed teams including Plant Engineering, Field Services, and Maintenance professionals while cultivating a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Growth-Oriented: Work closely with executive leadership to modernize facilities and enhance production efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
- Wide Scope: From construction contracts to process optimization to compliance, your role touches nearly every facet of operations.
- Lead the execution of capital projects across multiple plants and locations.
- Provide engineering oversight and mentorship to internal teams and external partners.
- Guide and empower the Maintenance and Field Services teams across sites.
- Champion Operational Excellence initiatives like Lean and 5S to drive efficiency and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with leadership on strategic planning, investment decisions, and future-proofing infrastructure.
- Ensure full compliance with safety, environmental, and permitting standards.
- Develop and track KPIs to measure productivity, equipment reliability, and performance.
- Maintain robust systems for preventive maintenance, spare parts inventory, and production support.
- Education: Degree in Chemical Engineering (preferred), or relevant Engineering field.
- Experience: 8+ years in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial maintenance, with increasing leadership responsibility.
- Strong mechanical and/or chemical process knowledge.
- Proven success managing capital projects, budgets, and construction contracts.
- Hands-on experience implementing Lean/5S principles.
- Strategic thinker with financial acumen and a passion for continuous improvement.
- A collaborative, coaching-driven leadership style.
- Proficiency in maintenance management systems, ERP tools, and Microsoft Office.
