Nurse Manager - Cardiovascular Care

Role Overview: The Nurse Manager oversees daily operations of a 40-bed Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit, leading a team of 56 staff members.

• Supervises and coordinates clinical care to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate nursing practices.
• Collaborates on organizational planning, promotes evidence-based practices, and supports research initiatives.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
• Fosters professional development and a positive work environment to retain staff.
• Integrates clinical, human resource, and financial data for informed decision‑making.
• Participates in strategic planning and unit improvement initiatives.
• Recruits, mentors, and supports staff growth aligned with hospital culture.

• BSN or equivalent;
  Master's preferred.
• Current RN licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing; national certification in specialty area within one year.
• Minimum of five years recent nursing experience, including two years in clinical leadership.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• Leadership experience is preferred.
