EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

REQUIRED:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics required.

· Completion of an ACEND-accredited supervised practice program.

· One to two years of hospital clinical nutrition experience preferred.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

REQUIRED:

· Registered Dietitian Nutritionist preferred or must pass Registration Examination for Dietitians within 3 months of hire date.

· Licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation within 6 months of hire date.

· Obtaining 75 CEU’s within a 5-year period to meet CDR professional portfolio requirements

· Employment in this position is contingent upon continued registration and licensure as a dietitian.
