The Caregiver plays an indispensable role in the lives of individuals who are no longer able to care for themselves. This role involves providing both practical and personal assistance in the home, as well as offering vital emotional support. This is far more than a basic caregiving role. Expectations are high for a Caregiver who acts as a true partner in the individual's care, taking full ownership of their well-being.
We are seeking a Personal Care Assistant/Caregiver in the Parker County or Surrounding area who are available to work with our clients in Parker County and surrounding areas for the weekends.
Caregiver Responsibilities- Assist clients with mobility, including support with walking, transfers, and helping them move safely around their home or environment.
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Assist with meal preparation, cooking, and feeding, ensuring the client’s dietary needs are met.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing to ensure a safe living environment.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to improve emotional and physical well-being.
- Help with transportation needs for appointments, errands, or social engagements.
- 2 yrs previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred
- CNA Certificate a plus but not required
- CPR Certification or obtain upon Offer of Employment
- Dementia/Alzheimer’s experience a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions, client tasks and care plans.
- Physical ability to assist with mobility and perform tasks such as lifting or transferring clients.
- Current valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation
