Position SummaryAs the Property Manager
, you will lead day‑to‑day operations of a multifamily apartment community, focusing on resident relations, team development, leasing performance, financial oversight, and facilities management. You will serve as the key point of contact for residents and the corporate office and train the Assistant Manager to ensure strong operational support.
- Operational Oversight: Manage all aspects of property operations including leasing, collections, renewals, resident satisfaction, and vendor coordination. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local housing regulations.
- Financial Management: Achieve financial goals by monitoring rents, expenses, and delinquencies. Approve invoices, manage vendor relationships, and ensure budget compliance.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, onboard, train on‑site staff, conduct ongoing training, review timecards, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Leasing & Marketing: Oversee leasing activity, approve applications, monitor market trends and surveys, and implement marketing plans.
- Resident Relations: Promote customer service, respond to concerns, conduct move‑in/move‑out inspections, and foster community initiatives.
- Maintenance Coordination: Partner with the maintenance team, conduct inspections, manage preventative maintenance schedules.
- Compliance & Reporting: Maintain accurate records, submit weekly/monthly reports to corporate, and ensure licensing and safety compliance.
- Minimum 3 years of multifamily property management experience.
- Strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- In‑depth knowledge of state lease documents, Fair Housing laws, and Property Code.
- Proficiency with property management systems (One Site/Yardi) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask and manage a fast‑paced environment.
Full‑time, on‑site position requiring occasional weekend availability.
Physical Requirements- Walk the property, inspect units, climb stairs, bend, lift, and perform general physical tasks.
