Who we are looking for:We are currently looking for a Production Supervisor based in Weatherford, TX. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this person will be responsible for supervising hourly production employees to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost metrics. This person will be responsible for supervising Night shift operations (M-F, 6:00 PM-03:00 AM).
What you'll do:- Train, coach, and develop the Manufacturing shift leads.
- Ensuring adherence to health and safety procedures.
- Uphold and enforce company policies, values, procedures, and housekeeping practices.
- Enforce quality procedures to meet quality objectives.
- Planning and managing departmental resources (People, equipment, etc.).
- Monitor key performance indicators, document training plans to ensure employees are trained and in compliance with all procedures.
- Work with employees and leads to identify ways to continually foster and promote a positive work environment by direct involvement with all levels of employee.
- Participating as an active member of the safety committee.
- Create and modify standard work.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree; or 4+ years' relevant work experience.
- 4+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing.
- Complete your Atkore immersion program.
- Understand how your job will help deliver Atkore's strategy.
- Identifying skillsets for each employee reporting to you and their team.
- Gain an understanding of the training materials and procedures your team owns.
- Update training materials and procedures.
- Partner with Safety and HR to investigate and provide corrective measures for on-the-job accidents, injuries, production issues, and HR issues.
- Identify ways to strengthen the team's commitment to Atkore's core values of Accountability, Teamwork, Integrity, Respect and Excellence.
- Be supervising an efficient team that delivers Atkore's strategy.
- Create and update reports, training materials and documentation.
- Have meaningful performance conversations with your direct reports.
- Be able to resolve any issues quickly and safely.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $65,040 - $89,430. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
