Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 PM-5:30 AM. Fridays, 5:00 PM-Midnight as needed
Position SummaryWe are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented CNC Plasma Table Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for operating CNC plasma cutting equipment to produce high-quality parts according to specifications while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC machinery, interpreting blueprints, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC plasma cutting tables to process steel and other metal materials.
- Load, unload, and position material safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, drawings, and production schedules.
- Verify dimensions and quality of finished parts using measuring tools and inspection equipment.
- Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards.
- Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting.
- Remove finished parts, sort materials, and prepare components for the next stage of production.
- Maintain accurate production records and report any equipment or quality issues.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.
- Previous CNC plasma table, CNC machine operator, or metal fabrication experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments such as tape measures, calipers, and squares.
- Basic computer skills and ability to work with CNC machine controls.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, heat, and moving equipment.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
