Travel Centers of America is hiring a Kitchen Cook (Part‑time) to support dining services at our travel centers across the country.

The Cook is a key member of the restaurant team, responsible for preparing and presenting quality food to guests so we can return every traveler to the road better than they came.

• Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on great customer service.
• Perform prep cook tasks such as washing, chopping, and sorting ingredients.
• Perform grill cook tasks, setting up broiler, fryer and grill stations as per line check sheets; prepare products to specifications and follow plate presentation guides.
• Complete prep, freezer pull and temperature checklist sheets.
• Practice safe food handling, storage, and waste control procedures; follow safety guidelines and report unsafe situations.
• Maintain equipment per operating standards.
• Prioritize work according to restaurant and guest needs.
• Build strong communication and rapport with leaders and co‑workers.
• Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.

• Dedicated individual who works well with others and is excited to be part of our team.
• Previous food service experience a plus.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and some holidays.

$13.00 – $15.00 per hour (pay varies by responsibilities, duties, and experience). Not all positions have a pay range listed.

The role requires talking and hearing regularly. Standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, bending, crouching, crawling, climbing, and repetitive use of legs occur occasionally.
