Overview

United Ag & Turf is a John Deere Dealership with multiple locations across Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico. United Ag & Turf serves customers in a variety of industries such as commercial, construction, agricultural, as well as consumers. United Ag & Turf strives for exceptional customer experience throughout all our locations and departments including parts, sales, service, and transportation.

Sells new and used agricultural, compact construction, and turf equipment to new and existing customers.

• Represents the company for the sale of machinery to customers in a defined sales area.
• Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership.
• Monitors competitive activity/products and timely communicates to management accordingly.
• Maintains all customer information in assigned territory for sales management.
• Knows and follows a defined sales process.
• Assists with the preparation and execution of customer events.
• Conducts new equipment field demonstrations.
• Monitors trends in customer’s business activities and timely communicates to management.
• Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods.
• Attends applicable sales training events/seminars.
• May maintain current knowledge of used equipment values and ability to evaluate properly for trading purposes.

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience.
• Excellent communication skills.

• One-year prior equipment sales experience.
• Knowledge of commercial equipment.
• Ability to use standard desktop load functions such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Excellent customer relationship skills.
• Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports.

This position requires various physical demands that are necessary to perform the essential functions of the position, including: ability to use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; sit, walk, climb, balance, and tolerate extreme outdoor conditions; occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
