Field Operations Associate

Join the team at Select Mat Services as a Field Operations Associate (FOA) and play a critical role in the installation and removal of composite mats across the South Texas region and beyond. • Assist in the installation and removal of composite mats, ensuring secure placement using locking pins to prevent movement under heavy loads.
• Transport tools and materials across the job site.
• Direct truck drivers and support the crew lead with on-site operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the removal of job site trash.
• Strive for operational efficiency by assisting the equipment operator to minimize unnecessary interruptions.

• Frequent out-of-town travel (50%-75%), with all travel time paid hourly.
• Travel in company vehicles from the yard to job sites across the state and occasionally out-of-state.
• Company-covered hotel accommodation and a $50/day per diem for days spent out of town.

• Ability to lift and pull over 50 lbs., and perform physically demanding tasks involving sitting, bending, and manual labor for extended periods.
• Able to work in extreme heat and cold temperatures for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Fluent in English and Spanish a plus, but not required.
• Able to travel 50% - 75% of the week.
